Can Excelsior Academy help my child develop better social skills?

Excelsior Academy has a comprehensive social and emotional skills training program for all ages. Students receive at least 30 minutes of instruction per day or more as appropriate.

Does Excelsior Academy have a sports program?

Yes, Excelsior students have the option to participate in both intramural and interscholastic sports. The Eagles compete in the CAPSES sports league and have won championships in flag football, basketball, softball, and soccer.

Does Excelsior Academy offer any other services like speech therapy?

Yes! Excelsior Academy provides a number of designated instructional services including speech therapy, occupational therapy, and counseling.

Does my student need an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) to attend?

Most of our students have an IEP before enrolling at EA; however, students that perform better in a more structured environment with small class sizes may be ideal candidates for Excelsior Academy.

Is Excelsior Academy a public school?

Excelsior Academy is a private, nonpublic school (NPS). As an NPS, we work closely with many school districts in the county to ensure that our students receive a free and appropriate education. To learn more about how to enroll your child at EA, click on Admissions.

What grades does Excelsior Academy serve?

Excelsior Academy is accredited through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and certified through the State of California to serve students from grades K-12 and up to the age of 22.
